The Seymaz: a quiet walk, with a break by the water

The Tennis Club de la Seymaz restaurant sits right by the river, on the walkers’ path: stop off for a coffee, a homemade dessert or a meal on the terrace.

The Seymaz, a quiet, green walk

A footpath follows the Seymaz through the east of Geneva. You walk among tall trees and small woods, sometimes in the shade, with rustic bridges to cross from one bank to the other.

In places, the banks have been given back to nature. With a little luck, you will spot a grey heron out hunting.

In Chêne-Bourg, the commune describes a walk along the Seymaz from Parc Mirany to Route de Malagnou (in French).

How to find us

The restaurant is inside the Tennis Club de la Seymaz grounds, at Chemin des Choucas 1, Chêne-Bourg, right by the river.

Coming on foot across the fields, look for the tennis courts: the clubhouse and its terrace are right next to them.
